Why we started Lawncamping
Love of low-impact travel​
There is something deeply restorative about reconnecting with nature and slowing down outdoors. Spending time in natural surroundings can improve both physical and mental well-being, whether that’s through simple camping, walking, or practices like forest bathing and grounding. Lawncamping is built around the idea of enjoying these experiences while leaving places just as we found them — protecting landscapes, wildlife, and the sense of peace that makes being outdoors so special.

Lawncamping is built around trust between landowners and campers. By keeping the network membership-based and focused on responsible outdoor behaviour, we hope to create welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable sharing land and experiences. Respect for property, nature, and local communities sits at the heart of everything we are building.

Camping that gives back

A portion of future membership income will support environmental and conservation initiatives aligned with LawnCamping’s mission to protect natural spaces and promote low-impact use of natural sites.

As the community grows, we intend to partner with registered charities to the benefit of both users and the natural environment.
